Pre-approval: Carter Family Homes works with two different banks that we are fully set up at to streamline the approval process. We will send an email to the company you choose to use to get you started.
Pick and price your plan. If you have a plan, that’s great! If you don’t, no worries. CFH works hand-in-hand with Designs by Amanda. We can meet at her office to look through plans or we can design your own. This is my favorite part!
Price out your plan & make selections.
Once you are pre-approved & pricing is agreed upon, we will enter a contract and await your closing date.
In the meantime, Carter Family Homes starts the permitting process.
While you’re waiting during the “boring parts”, if you are wondering just how your plan will feel, or if any changes are needed, we take you and your family to Walk Your Plans-Atlanta where you can quite literally take a full scale “walk of your plan”. This service is complimentary of CFH, if you choose to participate. This has been an extraordinary experience that we have shared with our clients and we highly recommend taking advantage of the opportunity! Changes on your plans can be costly, so we would like to give you a life-sized experience of your home before it is built to see if everything works well for your family.
When the loan is closed, we schedule ground-break day.
